Uma Character
Rkatsiteli (რქაწითელი) is an endemic Georgian white grape variety. The name is translated as “red-stemmed” or “red-horned” and is centered at Eastern wine region of Kakheti. The Acidity level varies from 7 to 8 grams per liter and the sugar level reaches from 20 to 24% per liter. Harvested in September, it is the most popular and mass produced grape variety because of its flexibility with other grape combinations it might be used for making large number of different Georgian wines including our goddess Lile.
