Saperavi Qvevri Character
Qvevri wine making technology turns the most widespread Georgian grape juice into a special and exotic substance reflecting ancestral hard work that is part of our DNA.
Saperavi is a Georgian endemic red grape variety. “peri” (ფერი) in Georgian means color. The core of the name might be interpreted as colorful or colorizer. The Acidity level varies from 7.5 to 8.5 grams per liter and the sugar level reaches from 20 to 26% per liter. Saperavi is cultivated in large numbers which makes it the most widespread and mass produced red wine grape variety across Georgia.
