Qvevri Generation Notes
The iconic endemic Georgian white grape variety of Kakhuri Mtsvane has exclusive importance in Qvevri Generation. European technology made wine combines modernity and tradition, which will make your routine special and take an important place in your everyday life. The name is given because of its ability to stay greenish even after it is ripe enough for winemaking.
Tasting notes
Mtsvane is straw-colored medium body wine with expressed aromas of melon, pear, apple, and white fruits. The crisp long finish makes it even more enjoyable and vivid.
Mtsvane Character
The native light skinned white grape Mtsvane resides in two Georgian wine regions, Kakheti and Gori. Our Kakhetian Mtsvane tastes like an ancient force of nature.
Kakhetian green (კახური მწვანე) is an endemic Georgian white grape variety. The name is given because of its ability to stay greenish even after it is rife enough for wine making. The Acidity level varies from 6 to 7.8 grams per liter and the sugar level reaches from 20 to 22% per liter. Like Rkatsiteli, Mtsvane is surprisingly flexible grape when it goes to mixing with other grape varieties.
